SUSTAINABLE FARMING - For BANGAR FARMLAND
Sustainable Agriculture‐ it’s the combination of organic, natural and bio dynamic practices and
other methods using science & technology to utilize the farm’s available natural resources as a closed loop
system with minimal external inputs thus enhancing productivity, creativity, minimize losses and maintaining the right Eco balance.
OUR AIM:
Using combinations of Organic, Natural and Biodynamic methods and aided by low tech equipment in planting high value crops such as culinary herbs and spices, various local vegetables or anything that can withstand the climate in
our place.Highlight old practices that have been used by earlier farmers successfully coming from the locals, Indigenous practices or from other practitioners locally and all over the world.
Integrated with livestock’s by raising free range Chickens, Our own native strains with localized strain of " available brands", Native pigs and or commercial poultry and pig breeds and native goats, probably cows and carabao as we move.
OPPORTUNITIES:
We will be looking out probably on joint venture, contract ventures or we do it ourselves on some parts of the farm. Invite volunteer practitioners, experts, specialists who love to help and share and help farming families achieve their goals..
Part of the integration will be Aquaculture "soil less" planting and aquatic plants for live stock alternative feeds
This will form part of the eco‐tourism in future as a place to learn in our locality. Or just enjoy farm life.
