legume planting-update july2013

8/6/2013

Comments

The pictures was taken in July 2013. We are now planting the designated area by sections the legume salad for the goats and cows whereby they could just grazed on it during nice weather.

If they are confined in the barn, we will do this;
1st phase method: Cut (Legumes)and drop(next to the animal) to feed
 (Napier and Indigofera + other available legumes (corn,peanut, rice straw, cassava leaves, malungay).
2nd phase method: shredded and mixed
3rd phase: hopefully we could combine pelleted feeding

Indigofera: Direct (straight to the ground) and Indirect planting (Using plastic bags and transfer later)
